I like this poster.  It’s dark, and Judge Dredd himself remains in shadow, as if whatever terrors may also hide in the dark, pale before his brand of harsh, uncompromising justice.

Plus, it’s an odd sort of tease because, unlike in Danny Cannon‘s 1995 version, he will (probably) never take off his helmet, a trait shared with the comic character.

Besides, it’s almost’s enough to cleanse the memory of  ”Judge Dredd” from my mental palate.  I know that you can’t tell how entertaining a movie is going to be from a poster or trailer, but it at least appears to be truer to the 2000 AD comic that the character sprang from.
