Review: The Society (2019)

The first season of Netflix’s The Society dropped late last week and having watched all ten episodes…it’s okay.

I wouldn’t call it a must see–it’s significantly weaker than 2015’s Between (also on Netflix) a series that covers similar territory thematically, but works much, much better.

That’s not to say The Society is a bad show–it’s actually pretty enjoyable in quite a few ways–despite the acting being uneven and the premise a bit dopey.

If I had a choice between the two shows I’d choose Between. Hands down.
