The full trailer for The CW’s Batwoman dropped earlier today and it bothers me.

To be honest I feel that way about quite a few things about the trailer but one thing immediately went to the top of the list.

And that’s the appearance of a young Lucius Fox (played by Morgan Freeman in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy).

And speaking of the Nolan movies, the Batcave as depicted in the trailer looked as it did from those movies so if Lucius Fox is active as a young adult during the period when Batman is active-we’re given a shot of his costume-then how the heck is he an old man during Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises!?

And I realize that the answer is that they likely don’t exist in the same universe, but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck can you really blame anyone for calling it a duck?
