Disney Has Corralled ‘The Lone Ranger!’

Disney’s upcoming “The Lone Ranger” has been stopped because of cost overruns.  This has happened despite the proven box office heft of Johnny Depp, who would have played Tonto, the Lone Ranger’s Native American scout and friend. Find the story here, via Deadline.
