Welcome to, technically, the first blog post of the screenphiles.  I write ‘technically’ because it’s actually not the first, but the second.

Long story short, this blog began life as a bouncing bundle of Typepad-based goodness, though most of our writers found Typepad a bit difficult to work with.

So, after a somewhat frenzied discussion, here we are, and everything that’s old is new, and everything that was Typepad is now WordPress.

What will not change will be our approach to writing, as we seek to engage, surprise, and (perhaps) irritate you somewhat.

Through it all, what’s most important is that we will do our best to keep you engaged.
