I’m a Screenphile to many, but I double as a multimedia journalist. I recently launched a new documentary series called “Lectures to Beats” that offers a non-traditional examination of society.  Each episode explores a specific theme and features narratives from different field experts speaking candidly about the subjects and issues they know best.

Below is the series premiere, “Government Loves Me…Government Loves Me Not,” which examines the complex and seemingly dysfunctional relationship between black Americans and the government.

Yours truly is the show’s creator and sole videographer, editor and producer. I also serve as the interviewee, encouraging my guests to speak frankly about compelling issues.
