Rumor has it that the trailer for “The Avengers” will be released next Wednesday, five days (excluding the weekend) from today. While an interesting rumor, I would take it with a grain of salt.  That being said, it would make more sense to me to come out prior to Wednesday because you have the upcoming holiday weekend, coupled with great weather (in the Northeast, at least), which means more people in movie theaters.

And to show how an inexact a science predicting these types of things is, another source says Tuesday, and I imagine that I can find another estimate if I look hard enough.
