A ‘Screenphile,’ besides being a made-up word, is the name of this blog. It came into being as the result of a class at Georgetown University, and is something that I have refused to let die, partially because it provided a platform for my writing, partially because I sincerely enjoy movies, and wanted a reason to write about them.

Two years later, I have been doing just that.
