The Greatest Movie Ever Sold

Provocateur.  Troublemaker.  Those are two adjectives that I think  it’s safe to assume that have been thrown Morgan Spurlock’s way since “Super Size Me” reminded us why the United States is, according to Reuters, the most obese country on earth.  “Super Size Me” was only the beginning, for he followed it up with “Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden”, “Freakanomics”, and now “The Greatest Movie Ever Sold.”

In “The Greatest Movie Ever Sold” Mr. Spurlock is tackling the issue of corporate sponsorship, seemingly in his typical in-your-face manner.

What’s interesting is that what Morgan Spurlock is doing is very much in the vein of investigative journalism, even down to the way that he goes “undercover” in “Super Size Me” by consuming McDonalds’ meals for a month, which actually effects his health in an adverse fashion.
