According to Vulture, Harlan Ellison, famed science fiction writer, is suing the Andrew Niccol and Regency, the makers of the upcoming Justin Timberlake feature, “In Time.”  Ellison claims that it rips off his short story, “Repent Harlequin!”  Said The Ticktockman”

I read Ellison’s story many years ago, and it was inspirational–though I thought that “I Have No Mouth, Yet I Must Scream” was more memorable–as was most of his work.

I intend to re-read the story in question, then see the movie to be certain.
