According to Deadline, Patty Jenkins has left as director of the sequel to 2011’s “Thor.”  This is remarkable because she just got the assignment a month or two ago.

Marvel Studios can be notoriously difficult to work with, and more than a little bit tight with the purse strings, though I don’t want to assume what the reasons are behind Jenkins leaving without more information.
