Netflix has had a particularly rough year. First, there was the price increase, which was not very well received, probably due to the way it was handled more than the increase itself. Then there was the split of Netflix into two companies: Quikster, for the delivery of DVD’s, and Netflix for the streaming of video.
When Netflix understood that people would probably not want to deal with one company to deliver their DVD’s, and another to stream video, they quickly aborted a plan that should never have seen the light of day.
As a result of these decisions, Netflix stock began to fall in value.
Now, Netflix appears to want to list the videos that I watch on social networks like Facebook. This bothers me because I don’t want to share all of my viewing choices with anyone, and if Netflix were to follow through with this plan, I would have to consider canceling my account.
Netflix should keep in mind that, for the moment, they are the only game in town for streaming movies and videos (Hulu/Hulu Plus and Amazon do streaming, but for my money neither has either the variety or ease of use that Netflix brings) but if companies like Verizon have anything to say about it, that will not be the case for long.

Good post i love it ! 😉
