It seems that the Holy Grail for studios are to have superhero movies under development, though this is easier for some studios than others.  Marvel Studios is owned by Disney, so they don’t have any problem.  DC Comics is owned by Warner Bros., so they’re good.

Though, there are many characters that don’t fall under the aegis of either Marvel or DC, and Valiant is one of them.  The company has existed in various forms since 1988, the most recent iteration came into being in May of this year.

One of their characters, Bloodshot, will be making his way to the big screen, courtesy of Neal Moritz and Columbia Pictures.
