While I am not sure that I agree with the sentiment (despite finding male cheerleaders particularly irritating.  I should also mention that cheerleading isn’t a sport, in and of itself, though it does employ certain aspects of sports, such as gymnastics) of Lucky McKee‘s latest movie, which he directs with Chris Sivertson. I do think that it looks pretty interesting.
