Jeff Chan’s Code 8 began life as a short movie, and having watched most of it, it’s REALLY faithful to the trailer for the movie.

And let’s be honest, Code 8 is essentially the X-Men, and that’s okay because there’s little original under the sun: It’s all about the execution. Make it an interesting story, then similarities to other more famous material doesn’t matter (as much).
