A trailer for a CGI-ifed The Addams Family dropped yesterday, and it’s…okay. What’s particularly interesting to me is that the live action version from 1991 appeared a lot more visually interesting that the animated version (if the teaser is anything to judge by). It isn’t terrible, just not terribly inspired.

I have a joyous, almost childish love for horror. It’s such a cathartic medium for me but like anything else, when it’s done well it’s a joy to behold. But when it’s not…things can be a bit uninspired. And Flay looks…meh. Not terrible by any means, but nothing particularly memorable either.
