Does Patrick Dempsey know something that the rest of us don’t? I wonder because I have read quite a few articles that say he’s lobbying to play Marvel’s Master of the Mystic Arts, Dr. Strange.
Now, I have read that Kevin Feige wants to bring Dr. Strange to the big screen, but I haven’t heard anything yet that indicates that it’s actually happening any time soon, especially since Marvel has Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers coming up.
Which begs the question: Is Patrick Dempsey throwing his hat in the ring on the basis of little more than talk about a Dr. Strange movie, or does he KNOW something is coming together on the Dr. Strange movie front, and wants to get his name out there before they find someone else to play the good doctor?
