Not sure what I think about this one.   My doubt doesn’t come from someone questioning whether Shakespeare wrote some, or any, of his plays; that particular concern has been around for awhile.

No, what concerns me is that Roland Emmerich (what a cool first name.  Roland.  Sounds like a knight or something) is directing this.  For those of you unfamiliar with Mr. Emmerich, he’s the guy that directed films like “Stargate,” “The Day After Tomorrow,” and “2012.”

He’s not exactly known for subtlety, so if Shakespeare doesn’t somehow end up witnessing, causing or participating in some world-devestating event, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
