Can I ask a question?  Why does Hollywood ever bother trying to create dragons?  If you’ve seen Matthew Robbins’ 1981’s fantasy film, “Dragonslayer” you’d realize that his creation, Vermithrax Pejorative (which is an indicator of how geeky I can be because I pulled that from memory) has to be the best looking, most dragony-looking, dragon that’s every appeared in film.

Admittedly I haven’t seen all of this ‘Smaug,’ though from what little glimpse we do get of him, Vermithrax’s title is secure.
