I don’t mean to sound like a douche (which, if anyone says, pretty much means that they are going to do exactly that) but doesn’t Jeff Bridges lately seem a little less discriminating in terms of the projects he chooses? He’s got “R.I.P.D” coming up, which looks like “Men In Black,” replacing some awesome practical prosthetic designs with a butt-load of CGI.
Then there’s “Seventh Son.” It also looks CGI-heavy (heavier in fact than “R.I.P.D”) but at least it seems to be seeking a little originality.
Will it be worth watching? I have no idea, though at the moment I am digesting “Pacific Rim” – it’s awesome! – and may make my way to see it in 2D tomorrow, just to be sure.
