I have to watch 2011’s “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes” again.  From what I recall, how the apes came to dominance didn’t strike me as particularly plausible – I know that we’re talking about about a movie where the apes are essentially acting like very hirsute humans, but still – because the entire plot rode on Caesar’s shoulders, which meant that if he died or somehow became incapacitated it’s quite likely the leadership vacuum would have quickly ended their insurrection.

Now “Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes,” that I liked.

Though what surprises me is that it’s apes leading the revolt.  After seeing “Blackfish” last night I imagine that Killer Whales would have issues with us as well.
