Marvel Studios was at San Diego Comic Con, and they previewed their upcoming Phase 4 slate of movies and television shows (which is interesting because as I understand it what Marvel Studios is doing on television is divorced from what Marvel Television is doing, which seems to me to be a problem, namely why have TWO divisions of Marvel Entertainment dedicated to producing televised content (to be fair Marvel Studios on Television seems unique to Disney+ but I can’t see that relationship being exclusive to Disney+)?

Anyway, I spend some time discussing Marvel’s move into horror–which is perhaps optimistic but when Scott Derrickson describes something as “scary” I like to a least give him the benefit of the doubt.
