Let me guess…they’re aiming for quirky here? DC Universe, the streaming service dedicated to DC Comics-based properties released a teaser trailer for their upcoming Doom Patrol series a few minutes ago and it looks…okay. And speaking of quirky, I think they’re trying too hard but if the series actually lives up to it I guess […]
I’d be lying if I said I cared about Disney’s upcoming live-action Aladdin. After all, I haven’t even seen the cartoon the movie was based on though In the name of full disclosure I should mention I also hadn’t seen the cartoon that begat Beauty And The Beast before seeing the live action version on […]
Besides the title being a bit silly–after all the Men In Black includes aliens from OTHER WORLDS, for frak’s sake! Yet somehow we’re emphasizing it’s international nature!? Then there’s the product placement (memo to studio: If you’re seeing obnoxious product placement in the damn trailer it’s likely to be even more so in the movie, […]
Lionsgate, only a few few hours ago as of this writing, released the trailer for their upcoming Hellboy reboot. Which I really expected to dislike but in actuality I found it pretty intriguing. For a start, it appears to preserve the visual continuity Of Guillermo Del Toro’s two entries, which makes sense considering the visual […]
I have no intention of seeing this movie though maybe it’s something that you’d enjoy., so here you go.
If you’re of the mind to check it out, Comicbookmovie has posted a leaked trailer for Lionsgate’s upcoming Hellboy reboot. I intend to take a look tomorrow for Trailer Into Reaction, though that doesn’t stop you (though I’d move quickly because the likelihood is high it will be pulled). As I said, I’ll revisit this […]
This short caught me by surprise mainly because I’m not a huge fan of CGI-animated features though as a medium it has advanced exponentially since Tron in 1982 (in which only portions of the movie–like the light cycle races and the MCP–were actually computer generated). But it not only has it’s place, but as movies […]
The website for Lionsgate upcoming Hellboy reboot is live–the movie will be out April 12, 2019–and while there’s little in the way of new information there currently, there are a few posters you might be interested in downloading. Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, Doomsday, Lost In Space (2018)) is directing and I’m definitely interested–though not as […]
I hate to be a cynic–it’s safe to assume not enough that I won’t act like one–though my expectations for The Final Wish are…pretty low. I like to call this one ‘The Lin Shaye and Tony Todd Movie’ because they’re the only reason anyone is likely interested in seeing it (low blow. I hope you’re […]
If you haven’t seen any of the three seasons-so far-of Travelers on #Netflix do yourself a favor and check it out. The imminently bingeable series revolves around the exploits of ‘travelers,’ people from a dystopian future who seek to prevent it from coming into being by altering the past-which is our present. Created by Brad […]
