Thor: Bring The Thunder

To commemorate the opening of “Thor” nationwide tomorrow, Marvel has created a little 8-bit gaming action called Thor: Bring The Thunder.  It’s an attractive game, with lots of bright colors and sharply-defined backgrounds.  The characters are small and somewhat squat, visually resembling Kubrick or Lego figures.  I am surprised that it hasn’t been offered as […]

According to Box Office Mojo, “Thor” has pulled in $93 million in foreign box office receipts (UK, France, Korea, Spain, Brazil, Russia, Germany, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines and Australia). Total production costs are currently unavailable, but it’s probably in the +/- $150 million dollar range.

Re-Animator: The Musical

‘Re-Animator’ Special Effects: Simple But Effective There have probably been a handful of films based upon the books of the Cthulhu Mythos by H.P. Lovecraft, though two of the best are “Re-Animator” and “In The Mouth Of Madness” (IMOM was not, per se,  a “Lovecraft” film, though the title character of the film, Sutter Cane, […]
