While Sacha Baron Cohen is an acquired taste–I found “Bruno” a bit much, though “Borat” was fun–the man is definitely bold and seemingly fearless, which is why I think that “The Dictator” will at the very least be interesting.
Then there’s the presence of Larry Charles–who I just learned isn’t the same person as Larry David–in the director’s chair. So far, he’s directed all of Cohen’s films, and you can see touches of the brilliance he brought to Seinfeld during its run.
