Here’s the trailer for Sam Raimi‘s “Oz, The Great And Powerful.”

I like the way the trailer (and I assume the film as well) start out in black and white, which provides an interesting contrast with Oz, which is bold and very technicolor.

It also provides an interesting (and somewhat obvious) metaphor for his life, if it can be called such, before coming to that enchanted land.

I don’t know if “Oz, The Great And Powerful” based upon any of L. Frank Baum‘s books, though since I haven’t read any, it doesn’t really matter to me all that much.
