I was actually going to post something else, till I heard that the trailer for Marc Forster’s “World War Z” was available (There are also quite a few fake trailers floating about.  Insist on the real thing).  I have never been much of a fan of Forster’s work; “Quantum Of Solace,” his entry in the James Bond canon, was a bit murky and uninspired, though I haven’t watched “Machine Gun Preacher” yet.”

So perhaps there’s a chance that I’ll change my mind.

The production of “World War Z” was/is seemingly cursed to such a degree that director Forster and Brad Pitt (who happens to be starring in, as well as producing the film) were at one point not even talking to each other, and the studio had to intervene.

I could be wrong, but I am sensing a train wreck of immense proportions, which, oddly enough, makes me want to see it even more.  

Go figure.
