I could have posted this yesterday, but frankly wasn’t terribly interested till I saw the poster to the left at the Silver Spring Metro station today. One thing led to another (tell me something wrong, I listened too long but then, one thing leads to another), and here I am. At first I wasn’t sure if it wasn’t an advert for malt liquor directed at the African-American community till I recalled that advertising for alcoholic beverages is illegal in certain venues.
That being said, for whatever reason “G.I. Joe 2: Redemption” just doesn’t move me.
I thought that the original film was OK, despite Stephen Summers, the director, making Cobra Commander look so silly.
Now, knowing that the sequel is directed by John Chu it has peaked my interest even less, mainly because I am not sure what he as done prior that made him a good choice for this film.
