The trailer for “Catching Fire,” the second movie in the The Hunger Games Trilogy, came out a few days ago via Yahoo, so I had to wait till it appeared in a format more easily digestible for WordPress.

The first film actually caught me by surprise because I assumed that because the books that inspired it were aimed at a younger audience, that it would feel like a ‘Twilight’ film or something else equally sparkly and uninteresting.

Mea culpa, because I enjoyed it.

I shouldn’t have been too surprised, because some of the best books I have ever read were the White Mountains series, which consisted of “The White Mountains,” “The City of Gold and Lead,” “The Pool of Fire, and “When The Tripods Came – a relatively recent addition to the series.
