This trailer confuses me.  To start it looks very Beauty and the Beast–a movie, much to my surprise, I enjoyed–crossed with any of the Narnia movies (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, The Voyage of the Dawn Trader, take your pick).

Then there’s the whole ‘Four Realms’ stuff, which makes me wonder if this and the Thor movies are going to cross paths at some point.

And while I was being just a bit facetious earlier, the whole enterprise has a very Asylum-type feel about it though I suspect that the catering budget for The Nutcracker could finance an entire feature (or two) from the studio that seems to do little else than to knock off successful movies badly.
