Who the hell wants to see Christopher Robin!?  That’s at least what I thought when I heard about this trailer; that is till I saw it and realized how absolutely charming it is.

The movie visually feels vaguely like The Hudsucker Proxy (directed by the Cohen brothers) as Christoper Robin finds himself in world far meaner, cruel and cold than he has the ability to cope with.

So–apparently–he rediscovers Winnie the Pooh (a childhood creation he apparently thought he had outgrew) as a coping mechanism.

As I said, it’s pretty touching emotionally speaking and visually striking, with lots of muted colors.
