Universal Pictures dropped a trailer for their Fast and Furious spin-off, Shaw & Hobbs and…it’s interesting because while it continues the car fetishization typical for the series it’s a spin-off from–if the trailer is at all accurate it’s become a superhero film.

For instance, Idris Elba’s Brixton IS Power Man (essentially)–which is interesting because Netflix has already canceled the Marvel Television series

And as I said, there cars are here, but they’ve been curiously downplayed.
