I want to mock the people that got all into a tizzy over the lack of the Genie (Will Smith) in the last teaser trailer for their upcoming live-action Aladdin.

Then again, I’m because I try not to be too blatant a hypocrite because while I may not particularly care about live action versions of their cartoons I tend to lose my shit if I feel a superhero isn’t being well-depicted.

So, while I understand that this movie isn’t necessarily for me, that doesn’t mean I should take any sort of joy raining on the parade of anyone who the material is better suited for.
