I’m not done yet with Love, Death + Robots but if Fish Night isn’t the best episode of the series I’ll be genuinely shocked.

It’s by turns beautiful–with animation that looks rotoscoped and vaguely like that of Ralph Bakshi–and terrifying.

It’s somewhat simplistic story-wise, but as I’ve said before, that’s not a criticism in and of itself.
