Initially I thought that an idea of a series of short films based within the Alien universe was a great idea.

That is, till I saw Alien: Containment and came to–in hindsight a hasty conclusion–that maybe it’s not such a bad idea that the Alien franchise maybe takes a bit of a break.

As I said in my last video, it’s not that Containment was terrible–it wasn’t–more so than it just didn’t tackle the material all that well (if you just had your ship explode I would think that people would a bit more panicky and chaotic).

Specimen just works better.
