REview – X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) | The Six Deadly Problems

Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse isn’t a good movie though what’s surprising is how bad it actually is.

It’s badly written, directed in a mediocre fashion and a terrible interpretation of one of Marvel Comics’ most powerful mutants (never mind how it treats the other characters. Like Psylocke. Like Storm. Like Archangel/Angel. Like Quicksilver).

I could go on.

Apocalypse looking like a enemy of the Power Rangers? Literally the least offensive thing about this movie.

Which is saying a lot.

As you could probably tell–and I didn’t say it a few paragraphs ago–I REALLY disliked this movie and it has to rank among the worst X-Men–probably worse than X-Men: The Last Stand–movies and illustrative why Fox cannot be trusted with managing the X-Men franchise though since Disney has purchased the movie assets for 20th Century Fox it’s a bit of a moot point.
