The trailer for 65 dropped earlier this week and it looked – at least initially – pretty impressive as Adam Driver plays a pilot who’s spaceship, which happens to be transporting 35 people for reasons that aren’t revealed, is disabled by an asteroid, and falls to Earth.

Surviving the crash, he has to not manage to make his way in a hostile environment, but care for another survivor while dinosaurs are threatening their lives.

Dinosaurs? Time travel? Why!?

I was perfectly content with the idea that of a ship crashes on a planet and the survivors have to fend off hostile predators; the whole time travel thing – based on the trailer at any rate because within context it might make perfect sense – feels like padding.
