Remember when Dwayne Johnson tried to essentially muscle his into running the DCEU by doing things like going above Walter Hamada to get Henry Cavill to cameo in Black Adam – now keep in mind that I’m not a fan of Walter Hamada, though there is a such thing as a chain of command – never mind confabulating its box office?

Whether or not Johnson’s Black Adam will play a role in the future of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU remains to be seen but if there is a role, it won’t be in a sequel, despite an an attempt by Johnson to soft-peddle the whole affair.
