I just learned that there’s a Disney+ sale in the United States (the tier with commercials) for $1.99 and I have to admit that I might bite because I’m really curious about Moon Knight.

That being said, that price only lasts three months, after which it returns to $7.99.

I’ve always been of the opinion that every studio didn’t need a streaming platform – and studios that don’t have them, like Sony and Universal – are doing well because they didn’t invest literally billions of dollars in building them out.

So I reckon this sale is all about is getting those people who haven’t subscribed with an introductory price that’s really heard to beat though I’ve always been of the opinion that if you have commercials, then why is it $7.99?

I have a sneaking suspicion that that $7.99 figure is something Disney dreamed up and has little connection to the revenue those commercials are bringing in.
