This is an awesome movie! Now, by ‘awesome’ I mean ‘effective’ because the story is a mess an it has…problems. What makes Escape Room work is the actors. They’re no joke and buy into a bizarre scenario–that’s gets progressively more ridiculous the more you learn about it–with aplomb. Want more info, check out my review!
While I wouldn’t normally consider myself part of the demographic Carmen Santiago is aimed at I have to admit that I really like this trailer. The animation style is very clean and for the most part appears hand-drawn, as opposed to CGI, which is refreshing. Then there’s that ear-worm of a theme song…
