According to Superherohype Paramount’s Bumblebee has overtaken Warner Bros. Aquaman in international markets.

For reasons I’m not entirely sure Aquaman has been performing particularly well, outgrossing Justice League and Wonder Woman cumulatively.

Which I find vexing.

Part of the issue is that I’ve become accustomed to the Marvel Studios’ gradual approach to their properties, and find the ‘let’s throw it against the wall and see what sticks’ approach of the DCEU thus far really, really off-putting.

Another is that the way the DCEU works feels to me to constantly reward bone-headed decisions, which is an approach that works in few other places.
