The new Green Lantern trailer is now available via iTunes, and while he is one of my favorite DC Comics characters, I am not sure how to feel about this.  The new costume is interesting, but I can’t get around the mask.  It looks like it’s made of stone, and doesn’t work too well (for me, at any rate).

Ryan Reynolds is a pretty engaging and charismatic actor, so I am hoping that he can pull it off, though if you want to know what I am really looking forward to, check out the trailers for Captain America and Thor.

Thor is a special case because it’s directed by Kenneth Branagh, known for Shakespearian adaptations and for a version of Frankenstein that came on the heels of Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula, which did not do too well at that box office (which I should mention does not mean that it was not a good film; though it does mean that it wasn’t profitable for the studios that financed it) despite having a creative team that worked on the aforementioned Dracula.

Though he did direct Dead Again, which if memory serves, did do well at the box office.
