If you’re a horror fan–and who isn’t?–you probably hold Tom Holland’s Fright Night high in your pantheon of horror films.  It’s being remade by DreamWorks Pictures and stars Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin and David Tennant and is directed by Craig Gillespie

Now, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t see the point of remaking a film that was pretty damn good already.  If the studios are so intent upon remaking something, why not do The Guardian, a film by the normally reliable William Friedkin (The Exorcist, To Live And Die In L.A.) that not only was really bad, but had perhaps the most rubbery-looking tree that I have ever seen in film.
