Marvel Studios’  “Thor” has pulled in $122 million dollars in the United States after two weeks, and $230 million overseas.

Not too shabby for a $150 million dollar film.

According to Cinemablend.com a sequel is being planned and villains discussed.  I am not too sure how I feel about this rumor because Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios has already confirmed that they have writers in place for a sequel,” which is not quite the same thing as saying that a sequel is assured, which Cinemablend.com seems to be implying.

Though the box office receipts make a sequel very likely.
