Columbia Pictures is so confident about Marc Webb’s upcoming “Amazing Spider-Man” that they have already approved a sequel, which is probably going to be a problem for whomever decides to direct because it doesn’t exactly give much time for prep (unless Columbia is going to do a “Lord of the Rings” and make two films at the same time).

That’s pretty impressive for a film that hasn’t even been released yet.
