‘The Avengers’ Superbowl Teaser Trailer

I like this teaser so much that, while I don’t particularly care for football, I am willing to sit through the Superbowl to see it.

Speaking of which if you look at 0:10 seconds in, you see the scene below.  I believe in the foreground you’re looking at Loki on some sort of flying vehicle (if you look carefully, you can see hints of his distinctive headdress).

That being said, it the prior picture is of Loki, who is this below, and why in the next frame are similar vehicles attacking Iron Man?  Could it be that Loki, in Norse and Marvel mythology known also as ‘The Trickster,’ somehow managed to deceive some seemingly powerful race into “aiding” him, and they’re a little cheezed off about it?

I can’t wait for “The Dark Knight Rises,” but I am getting the feeling that “The Avengers” is going to eat its lunch.  And I know, there’s enough viewers out there for both films to be a success, though despite being an extra on “The Dark Knight Rises,” my loyalties have always been with Marvel.
