The teaser (I still can’t quite get over the idea that studios are actually making teasers for trailers.  It wasn’t that long ago that trailers were teasers for movies, but I digress) for Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” has arrived, and it’s full of wonder.

And corn.  That being said, you can see Nolan is trying to get across a feeling – which is done in a similar fashion to the trailer for Zach Snyder’s “Man of Steel” (coincidentally, Nolan was an executive producer on), except less like a fabric softener commercial – of the times when we defined ourselves by the efforts made to accomplish what was believed to be impossible.

It’s actually pretty clever in that it gives you some idea what the film is about, while actually showing you not a damn thing.

Pretty smart for the teaser of a trailer, when you think about it.
