If this movie had just zombies, I would have been satisfied.  A bit underwhelmed perhaps, but satisfied.  The effects work–of prime importance for any film featuring the walking dead–looks OK, though to be honest you can’t see all that much, even with the Red Band trailer, which I have posted.

But when you add robots to the mix, I get a warm and cushy feeling inside.  It’s a whole bunch of awesome zombie versus robot action.

The design of the robots looks like similar to those from a movie called “Robotropolis,” directed by Christopher Hatton whom according to IMDB did “Battle Of The Damned” as well, which would explain the resemblance.

In that film people were threatened by robots run amok, instead of zombies.

So, I guess they owe us one.
