Alien: Containment is one of the six–though I have also read there may be seven–shorts made commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Alien.

And it’s not that good. I don’t mean for a moment to imply that it’s not well-shot and convincingly production designed.

No. Alien: Containment‘s problem is that it doesn’t do anything that we haven’t already seen done better in the numerous Alien movies.
