2019’s Charlie’s Angels is a movie based upon the 1976 ABC series which spawned two movies in 2000 and 2003, both directed by McG (that’s not his name his parents gave him, which would be Joseph McGinty Nichol).

This time around it’s being rebooted by Elizabeth Banks and while it appears more joyful and youthful than McG’s movies (Banks directed the insanely profitable Pitch Perfect 2, and you can see elements of movie in the trailer).
